Hello everyone,
My name is Marshall and I am a Trades and Technology Teacher in Northern British Columbia, Canada. This is my first MET class and I am thrilled to be learning about the new technologies available on the market. I have been passionate about 3D printing for several years now. I love the evolution of this technology and I believe it is one of the greatest devices to have in my Technology Education classroom. This shared passion led some friends and me to design and build our own FDM 3D printer while in our last year of technical training. This was no easy feat; however, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to take on this challenge with friends. |
I am an interior architecture graduate. I have five years of experience, working as a research assistant in Izmir, Turkey. I am interested in bringing together the hands-on quality of design principles with the possibilities of digital technology.
I have encountered 3D printing while doing my Master's Degree and I believe it will change the whole process of architectural education. Architecture relies heavily on different softwares and technologies. These products change frequently which some might find challenging. I believe these technologies will push architects to innovate and realize their dreams. |
